Welcome to the official website of the Coryell Central Appraisal District! Within this site you will find general information about the district and the ad valorem property tax system in Texas, as well as information regarding specific properties within the district.
CCAD Gatesville office will be closed from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, and CCAD Copperas Cove office from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, Friday, December 13, for our office Christmas Party.
Coryell CAD strives to maintain current records on all properties. If you currently have an agricultural valuation application over three (3) years old you may be asked to submit a 2014 application. The geographic area for the 2014 update process includes most property owners north of Hwy 84 who are not in Jonesboro ISD.
All adjoining property may be listed on the same application.
Appraisers are in the field
Coryell CAD is currently starting our re-inspection plan for 2014. Appraisers may be seen throughout the county in neighborhoods and commercial areas as they are measuring new residential or commercial construction; reviewing and updating characteristics of existing construction and/or land parcels; and reviewing, updating, or adding inventory of present or new businesses. Appraisers will have a Coryell CAD badge and business cards with them at all times.
We have launched an interactive map of Coryell County. Please be advised not all parcels are mapped at this time. For questions regarding discrepancies, incorrect or unmapped parcels or if you have information i.e. deeds, surveys, etc., please contact our office by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is not the responsibility of CCAD to establish tax rates or collect property taxes. For the paying of taxes or questions concerning taxes due please visit the Coryell County Tax Office website at coryellcountytax.com or call the Coryell County Collector/Assessor at 254-248-3142.
Low Income Housing Rate:
